Tanzende Nornen is an essayistic documentary film about the return of primordial feminine power. Inspired by the mythical Norns, the film follows women on an inner and outer journey. Through dance, ritual, and encounter, masks fall away, inner shadows are touched, and the wild within the feminine is revealed.
Interwoven with poetic imagery and the charged, mythical places of Thuringia, a cinematic space unfolds between personal transformation, archetypal images, and collective remembering. Documentary intimacy and artistic staging condense into a sensual exploration of feminine primal force.
